Kalle Lindmark (b. 1987) is a visual artist living and working in Arrie, Sweden. Through painting Lindmark seeks to string up suggestions in the visual field. Marks are made, paint moved over the surface; figures, things, ideas, color and application are tried and considered through the painterly process and its materials. Central in this work is the medium’s non-linear and anachronistic qualities, along with its ability to address the body, memories, and experience.
Lindmark holds an MFA from Malmö Art Academy and he has been awarded the Ellen Trotzig grant from Malmö Art Museum, working grants from The Swedish Arts Grants Committee, The Edstrandska grant for graduates, and his works are represented in the Malmö Art Museum collection.
